To be considered an applicant, you must complete the online application for a specific position. All open positions are posted on our Web site at www.aquila.com.
- How do I complete an application for a specific position at Aquila?
To submit an application, you must register as an applicant by entering a user name and password. After registering, the screen will display a complete list of all our open positions. You may sort the list of positions or locations by clicking on the underlined headers. To see a complete job description, click on the job title. When you decide which job(s) you wish to apply for, click on the box(s) beside the date field, then click on Apply Now' or Save Jobs'. You must have selected a job(s) to apply for a position(s) and be considered an applicant.

Most public libraries have Internet access available for free where you can apply online.

The Aquila online job search system allows you to choose the location you are most interested in and view the job openings that are available in your area.
- Once I submit my resume for a specific opening, will it be considered for other openings a well?
Your submitted resume will only be considered for the position(s) that you applied for. You must apply for a specific position(s) and your application will only be valid for that specific opening.
- I saw an ad for an open position. What is the salary range?
Aquila offers competitive compensation. Salaries will vary depending on the skills and years of experience required. Salary information is included with the job description posting.
- How can I locate a position that matches my skills and interest?
Our online job search system allows you to select various criteria to narrow your search for openings that may interest you. If your search efforts result in no matching career opportunities, you may want to broaden your search criteria.
- I submitted my resume a few days ago. How long will it take before an interview is scheduled?
Should a currently available position, which you have applied for, match your qualifications; you may be contacted to set up an interview. The time varies so we cannot give you a specific timeframe. To ensure your application is being considered, please log onto Aquila's Web Application site and confirm that your application has been submitted. Please keep in mind that we do not respond to each application individually because of our application volume.
- What does the interview process include?
If you are called to come in for an interview, in most cases, you will meet with a Human Resources Department representative (certain positions may also require skill testing). If all goes well, you can anticipate meeting with several other individuals before a decision to hire is made. This may require more than one site visit.
